Super-excited about our new class project. Inspired by all things comicbook and a chance meeting with community maker Ali David at CEC Makerspace in Novato, we will be collaborating to create a pretty awesome display for the Marinovators Fair this April.

For the next six weeks, students in the rafiakids coding and maker class at Kent Middle will dream up their own superheroes complete with games, gadgets - and emblems that glow and react to sound with EL-wire.

Here's a quick video Claire took with EL-wire maker Ali - as you can hear, her enthusiasm is infectious!

We're planning to expand this project into the bigger community of young makers in Marin. For more info, email rafiakids@gmail.com
